The Resistance MPs have been challenging their suspension on Parliament premises.
Answering the most recent round of suspensions, Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said in a post on X that a “complete cleanse is being executed so draconian Bills are passed with no significant discussion”. “Both the structures are under the Speaker’s domain. We are following the Speaker’s organization. A significant level enquiry is going on. Saying that we won’t permit the House to work … they (resistance) ought to act dependably,” he said.
