Earthquake tremors jolted Delhi and other parts of North India today after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit Afghanistan.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and adjoining areas on Thursday.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the magnitude 6.1 earthquake was near Afghanistan.
The tremors were felt at 2.50 pm, it said.
Tremors were also felt in Pakistan’s Lahore and in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, including in Poonch.
There were no immediate reports of any loss of life, or damage to property due to the earthquake.

Till now, there have been no reports of death toll or property. The 6.0 extent tremor struck at 2:20 pm (nearby time) in the Hindu Kush locale at a profundity of 213 kms, as per the Pakistan Meteorological Division.
